Please introduce yourself briefly

In September 2010, I began my training at SGB as an electronics technician for machine and drive technology. After completing my training, I worked as a fitter in the active component assembly department. From September 2022 to May 2023, I took a “career break” and studied full-time to obtain my master craftsman's certificate (industrial master craftsman in electrical engineering). Since June 2024, I have been working as a foreman in the core construction department for network transformers.

Describe your typical workday in three words

Varied, challenging, and communicative.

My workplace isn't just an office; I also spend a lot of time in the production area, which makes my everyday life very varied. Challenges arise when problems occur in the production area and I can work with my colleagues to find solutions. You also get to spend a lot of time with people. I like to talk and have great colleagues who are a lot of fun to be around. We're a great team.

What has been your most exciting experience at SGB so far?

Our company party three years ago. A beer tent was set up on the company premises and it was a fantastic evening.

Who would you recommend your job to?

I would recommend working at SGB to anyone. I am a big fan of special machine construction. Every transformer is unique. It is always exciting and the work processes are very, very varied.

What is your favorite thing to do after work?

In my free time, I love hiking in the mountains.
