Hi, my name is Carina Vieweger. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management at RWU in Ravensburg. Afterward, I moved to Regensburg to pursue my master’s degree. There, I chose to pursue a master’s in Logistics at OTH. During my master’s program, I worked for a year as a student trainee in purchasing at SGB. I ultimately wrote my master’s thesis in collaboration with SGB, in the purchasing department. I have been working as an operational buyer since April 1, 2026.
To gain even more practical experience, I decided to take on a working student position. While searching for an interesting company, I came across SGB’s career page and successfully applied for my working student position. What I particularly like about SGB is the pleasant work environment and the variety of tasks. It’s definitely never boring at SGB. I also really enjoy my job because I can often recognize the orders I’ve processed around the campus.
Always something new.
In my day-to-day work, I’m constantly encountering new special cases, so it never gets boring. On top of that, the team dynamic is great. My responsibilities cover the entire purchasing process, from requesting quotes to placing orders to verifying invoices. I’m in charge of two areas.
For me, SGB is special because our team is so friendly and welcoming. Here, we support one another.
In my free time, I enjoy painting and drawing, playing the guitar, and going for walks.
Aside from that, I also spend my evenings after work and weekends doing things together with friends or going on outings with them.
