Projekt Manager, Sales Power Transformers
since 2022 at SGB
My name is Andreas, and I had the opportunity to write my master's thesis in mechanical engineering at SGB in 2022. After completing my master's thesis, I joined the sales team as a project manager in early 2023, where I handled projects with a lot of customer contact. In June of this year, after 2.5 years, I moved to our team's quotation management department. There, I am responsible for preparing quotations for all inquiries that come to our team.
I found out about the thesis through my university's job portal. During this time, my colleagues gave me a warm welcome and I found my time at SGB to be very educational.
The dynamics of the industry and the drastic turnaround in 2023 sealed my decision to stay at SGB.
Blood, sweat, and tears.
Just kidding! My daily work routine combines relaxed routine tasks with new and exciting challenges that offer many opportunities for personal and professional development. The foundation of my work is communication with my colleagues at SGB and with customers.
For me, SGB strikes exactly the right balance between a family-like environment and exciting opportunities for further training and development.
On a personal level, it is also important to me that my work at SGB allows me to contribute to the energy transition in the current climate.
After work, I like to spend my evenings with my friends and family at home enjoying a good home-cooked meal, or sometimes in town having a beer after work.
