Technical Product Designer, Power Transformer Design
Since 2022 at SGB
I began my apprenticeship as a technical product designer on September 1, 2022, and successfully completed it in July 2025.
During my apprenticeship, I gained insights into various departments.
I currently work in the design department in the standardization division at the Regensburg location.
Diverse, team-oriented, fun
My daily work routine is very varied and diverse. In addition to my design work in the CAD program, I’m constantly exchanging ideas with my colleagues from different departments, which often leads to fun conversations.
I recommend the technical product design program to people who have a strong interest in mathematics and physics and enjoy spatial reasoning.
For me, what sets SGB apart is its strong sense of community. In addition to the many benefits – such as an extra day of vacation on your birthday – it’s the supportive work environment that makes SGB special.
I felt welcome in the team right from the start of my training.
