Sales Manager, Cast Resin Transformers Sales
Since 2013 at SGB

Please introduce yourself briefly

In 2013, I began my apprenticeship as an industrial clerk, which included training as a foreign-language correspondent. Afterward, I was hired by the service department for power transformers, which, coincidentally, was also the department where I had completed my initial training.

In addition to my full-time job, I also completed continuing education to become a Technical Business Administrator at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK). On January 1, 2025, I finally moved to the sales department for cast resin transformers, where I have since been taking on new challenges as a Sales Manager.

Describe your typical workday in three words

Analytical – Communicative – Solution-Oriented

In technical sales for transformers, our daily work involves understanding customer inquiries, analyzing technical requirements, and developing suitable solutions. We serve as the link between the customer and the technical team. We support projects from the initial inquiry through to completion, drawing on both our technical expertise and our aptitude for numbers—for example, in cost estimates and quotations.

Who would you recommend this apprenticeship to?

I would recommend this program to anyone who enjoys managing projects with clients and colleagues.

It also allows you to combine interests in various fields, such as business and technology. You should have a structured approach to your work and be eager to learn.
