Industrial Mechanics  (m/f/d)

Job-Description:

The activities of an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) include the inspection, maintenance and repair of machines and systems. You will assemble machine parts and assemblies, isolate faults and rectify malfunctions. The assembly and disassembly as well as the relocation of machines are also part of the tasks. During your training, you will be taught basic metalworking skills. These include, for example, manual and mechanical machining, brazing and welding. You will also learn the basics of control technology, such as pneumatic, electro-pneumatic and hydraulic controls. The professional maintenance, assembly and repair of production plants and production components are also part of your training.

  • Acquiring basic skills in metalworking such as manual and mechanical machining, brazing and welding
  • Maintaining, assembling and repairing production plants and components
  • Learning the basics of control technology (e.g. pneumatic, electropneumatic and hydraulic controls)

  • Good Comprehensive school education
  • Good performance in mathematics and physics
  • Logical thinking and good technical understanding
  • Interest in manual work
  • Sense of responsibility and independence
  • Ability to work in a team and flexibility

Commencement and end of vocational training

  • Commencement as of 1 September in each case
  • Duration: 3.5 years

Application period

  • September of the previous year to March of the year in which the training starts
