Machinery operator are working in different production areas of the economy. They

• set machines and production systems and operate them,
• supervise and control the flow of materials,
• prepare the workflows,
• select test methods and test equipment and apply it,
• use control and regulation devices,
• maintain and inspect machines and equipment, 
• Troubleshooting,
• carry out quality assurance measures,
• consider the requirements of environmental protection and workplace safety,
• collect, store and analyse production data,
• coordinate with the according departments

• Good Comprehensive school education
• Good grades in German, Maths and Sciences
• Technical interest and skill
• Ability to quickly grasp concepts
• Team player
• Motivated and committed

• Commencement as of 1 September in each case
• Duration: 3.5 years

• September of the previous year to March of the year in which the training starts
