Job-Description:

Machinery operators are working in different production areas in the industry. They:

• set up and operate machinery and production plants, control and monitor the flow of materials
• prepare work processes
• select and apply test procedures and testing equipment
• use control and regulating equipment
• maintain and inspect machinery and plant and rectify faults
• carry out quality assurance measures
• take into account the requirements of environmental protection, occupational safety and economic efficiency
• document production data
• coordinate with upstream and downstream departments

• Good Comprehensive school education
• Good grades in German, mathematics and science subjects
• Technical interest and manual skills
• Quick comprehension
• Ability to work in a team
• Motivation and commitment

• Start on 1 September of each year
• Duration 2 years

• September of the previous year to March of the year in which the training starts
