It is just one year ago that it was opened at the Changzhou site in Jiangsu Province: the SGB China manufacturing facility for cast resin transformers Wind On- and Offshore. And already our group member belongs to the "Top 50 in China's Wind Power Industry 2020"!
The SGB-SMIT Group has already been active in the People's Republic of China since 2009. In 2019, SGB Transformer began full production in Changzhou and was able to develop into one of the most important industrial partners for the Chinese wind power industry within a very short time. An outstanding performance, which has now been officially recognized: at the "13th China (Jiangsu) International Wind Power Industry Development Summit Forum", which took place on 17.9.2020 in Nanjing. Numerous leading representatives of the wind industry met there and celebrated the "Night of the SGB Transformers" as well as the award ceremony of the "Top 50 in China's Wind Power Industry in 2020".
At the beginning of the ceremony, Yiyi Yang, the Managing Director of SGB Transformers (Yancheng) Co, Ltd , gave a speech on behalf of the company to thank customers and users in the wind energy industry for their recognition and support and for their participation in the growth of SGB China. She emphasized that SGB will always adhere to the principle of "quality and users first" and will continue to offer cost-oriented, high-quality transformers and services for offshore projects.
After SGB China was awarded the "Top 10 Excellent Product Award in China's Wind Power Industry" for two years in a row, this year the "2020 Top 10 Excellent Enterprise Award in China's Wind Power Industry" was presented to Weixin Li, the Deputy General Director of SGB Transformers (Yancheng) Co., Ltd.
In addition to the award, the representatives of SGB China also took home many valuable insights, new impulses and the findings of numerous pleasant discussions from the Summit Forum.
For SGB China, this new award is a beautiful confirmation of its efforts to apply ingenuity and craftsmanship every day for the benefit of its customers and partners. For the entire SGB-SMIT Group, the award is also an incentive to continue on the successful path into the future: We will continue to expand our activities in China and develop additional business areas - with the valued group member SGB China as a reliable, quality-oriented bridgehead in China.
