SGB-SMIT: At the top in on-site consulting - and now also Down Under.
Generation, storage and distribution of energy is a global task - in which all members of the SGB-SMIT Group participate with full commitment and innovative power. Part of this worldwide commitment is that we are on site worldwide to provide our customers with optimum support during planning and installation as well as during operation. The most recent example is the opening of our Australian sales branch by our colleague Claude Corso.
Products from the SGB-SMIT Group can already be found Down Under in the production of renewable energy. For Claude Corso, however, this is only the beginning: Since his start in autumn 2018, he has already established numerous contacts to have the transformers manufactured in the group installed and maintained by local partners, thus creating the aftersales conditions for an increase in sales. In order to achieve his goal of a double-digit market share for SGB-MIT in Australia, Claude Corso relies on national marketing in addition to personal acquisition: In the current issue of the trade magazine "Smart Energy" he was able to place a company portrait of the SGB-SMIT Group in the trade magazine "Smart Energy", and of course SGB-SMIT will also be represented at AIMEX 2019 with its cast resin division. At the largest mining fair in the Asia-Pacific region from 27 to 29 August we will present our solutions for mining, mine operation and raw material extraction.
Australia is a highly interesting market for the SGB-SMIT Group: the continent is predestined for the generation of electricity from solar energy; it is also rich in raw materials. And both industries benefit from products from the SGB-SMIT Group, which ensure reliable power distribution and supply even under the most adverse conditions. This is a real growth market in which the Managing Director of the new SGB-SMIT Australia Pte., Ltd., Claude Corso, wants to further strengthen the SGB-SMIT brand. We not only wish him every success, but of course actively support him. In this sense: a warm "G'day, mate!" to Down Under!
